Day 1 PRAISE: Father, we lift our young sisters and their babies to you. We praise you that you have heard their cry and rescued them from shame and despair! “He defends the cause of the fatherless … giving him food and clothing.” Deuteronomy 10:18

Day 2 PETITION: Father, we ask for you to locate all those who are still suffering in Africa – girls who’ve been abused and abandoned because of their pregnancy. Redeem them, oh Lord, we pray. “Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the Lord. Psalm 12:5

Day 3 PRAISE: Lord, we thank you and praise you that you’ve put it on your servants’ hearts in Uganda to start a school for teenaged mothers who have been kicked out of the education system due to pregnancy. “Your people settled in it, and from your bounty O God, you provided for the poor.” Psalm 68:5

Day 4 PETITION: Father, we pray that the government of Uganda and school systems across the country would open their doors to these girls who’ve been ostracized and rejected. Break their hearts for their own. “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward him for what he has done.” Proverbs 19:17

Day 5 PRAISE: Lord we thank you for restoring maternal bonds, such as the healing you’ve brought between baby Rebecca and her teen mama Anna. “He has sent me to bind the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” Isaiah 61:1

Day 6 PETITION: Father we hear of so many infants who’ve been thrown into the latrines or whose mothers have gone mad and passed them off to starving grandmothers. Please continue to restore what the enemy has stolen. “Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Proverbs 31:9

Day 7 PRAISE: Father, thank you for how you are leading many Muslim teen mamas to Christ. Thank you that communities are turning to Jesus Christ because of your kindness displayed through the local church. “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…” Matthew 25:35

Day 8 PETITION: Lord, protect teen mothers who’ve accepted Christ, such as our teen mama Zion, yet have been subsequently disowned by their parents. May they be encouraged to continue to serve you. “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to eat. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Romans 12:20

Day 9 PRAISE: Lord we thank you and praise you for the school buildings that you’ve provided, just a five minute walk from the teen mamas’ dorms in Uganda. You are so faithful to give us what we need! “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

Day 10 PETITION: Father, we ask you to fix up the school you helped us to purchase; please provide windows, doors, flooring, a bathroom and whatever else is needed to serve your daughters. “He will sustain you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.” 1 Corinthians 1:8-9

Day 11 PRAISE: Abba Father, we praise and thank you that the teen mamas’ babies belong to you; their days were planned before they came to be, and you know them full well. “You formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139: 13-14

Day 12 PETITION: Father, may every baby belonging to every teen mama grow up to testify to what You’ve done in his/her life and may none be lost to you. “The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom.” 2 Timothy 4:18

Day 13 PRAISE: Father we thank you that many of the teen mothers’ parents are giving their lives to Christ due to what they see happening at the School of Hope. May you be given all the glory, honor and praise in their lives. “Go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.” Mark 5:19

Day 14 PETITION: Lord we ask that more teen mamas’ parents would give their lives to you; please soften their hearts, heal their wounds and open their eyes to Your presence in their daughters and in their homes. “I will praise you to all my brothers; I will stand up before the congregation and testify of the wonderful things you have done.” Psalm 22:22

Day 15 PRAISE: Jehovah Jireh, we thank you for fathers like teen mama Esther’s dad, Steven, who volunteers his time daily to cook for the teen mamas, and for mothers like Joy, who serves as the matron of the dorm. “He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents…” Malachi 4:6

Day 16 PETITION: Abba, we pray that more fathers would seek to restore broken relationships with their daughters, and that more mothers would extend arms to embrace their little girls. “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

Day 17 PRAISE: Elohim, we thank you for protecting the lives of every teen mama in spite of many of them being raped, abused, abandoned and rejected – you never left her and you never forsake her. Praise you. “He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.” Psalm 91: 4

Day 18 PETITION: Father we bow low, knowing how many teen mothers in Africa are undergoing pain and suffering, confusion and loneliness. Lord, please open up the heavens and expand our borders. Allow more mamas to be helped through the local church. “The Lord roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem…” Amos 1: 2

Day 19 PRAISE: Lord, we thank you that every teen mama at the School has received a Bible, thanks to Gideons International. Bless the work of the Gideons, Father, and increase their ministry we pray. “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

Day 20 PETITION: Father we ask that you would open the eyes of every teen mama to her value as your daughter. Send forth your Word into her heart, and replace every lie that’s been spoken over her with truth in the name of Jesus. “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Day 21 PRAISE: Father we thank you so much for the gift of a cow and calf for the teen mamas and babies, allowing them to have fresh milk, and for chickens, providing them with eggs. Thank you also for allowing us to send money monthly for rice and beans. You are a good Father. “Who provides for the raven its prey, when its young ones cry to God for help, and wander about for lack of food?” Job 38:41

Day 22 PETITION: Lord, you are the Divine Farmer. Pour out your Spirit upon our mamas, restoring the earth to them and giving them joy in farming. Help them to reap plentiful harvests through the ground. “Then God said, ‘Let the land produce vegetation: seedbearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.’ And it was so.” Genesis 1:1

Day 23 PRAISE: Father God, we thank you for the nursery workers who travel daily from their homes to care for the teen mamas’ babies while their mamas are in school. We praise you for moving in their hearts to care for their family in Christ. “And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” Matthew 10:42

Day 24 PETITION: Lord, pour out blessings upon these women who travel daily to the dorm to care for over twenty babies and toddlers. Abba would you give them an increase in love, patience, arms, smiles, hugs and wisdom as they nurture Your children. “Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given us everything we need.” 2 Peter 1:3

Day 25 PRAISE: Sweet Jesus, thank you that you are the husband for all of our teen mamas. Thank you that you tuck their young ones close to your heart, and that you gently lead these girls where they need to go. “He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.” (Isaiah 40:11)

Day 26 PETITION: Lord we ask that you would blind the eyes of the evil ones, keeping them from our teen mamas. Protect these girls under the shelter of your wing. Keep them hidden from the plans of the wicked and lead them in the way everlasting. “For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will set me high upon a rock.” Psalm 27:5

Day 27 PRAISE: Father we thank you for raising up Ugandan men and women to teach these teen mamas. Many have given up prestigious government jobs to work at this mission school. We thank you for their sacrifice and their hearts for your people. “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom…” Colossians 3:16

Day 28 PETITION: Lord, please bless the School of Hope teachers and provide them with the resources they need in which to give our mamas an excellent education. Supply them with creativity, wisdom, perseverance, and joy. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…” 2 Timothy 3:16

Day 29 PRAISE: Lord we praise you for teen mamas like Eunice who have a passion to return school and become a police officer, bringing justice for girls like herself who were raped, and being a voice for the voiceless. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

Day 30 PETITION: Lord, please provide our teen mamas with determination, clarity of mind, an industrious spirit and a positive attitude, allowing them to excel in their studies and to pursue their dreams by earning scholarships to Uganda’s universities and colleges. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Day 31 CONCLUSION: Father we thank you for hearing our prayers. Thank you for equipping our teen mamas with the desire to learn, and the opportunity to return to school. We praise you for how Uganda is rising up to care for its own. Be glorified, magnified and lifted up today and always we pray. Amen.
