Creates One Family in Christ
Preventing tomorrow’s orphans by equipping today’s families through the local church – with the greater mission of becoming one family in Christ.
“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.” 1 Thessalonians 2:8
Partner with us
We equip vulnerable mothers and fathers through the local church.
We seek to become one family in Christ by partnering with churches from remote villages to bring the kingdom of heaven to villages.
Our focus is three-fold: Church, Family, and Village. We seek to equip the Church with a (Biblical) Message, the Family with a (Sustainable) Model, and the Village with a Mission to save souls.
When the church becomes the cornerstone of a community, the downward spiral of poverty is upended as families work together to develop healthy, sustainable villages rooted in the love of Christ – and disciples are made from all nations.
With a Message.
We believe in the integrity of the Bible, and so we train Christian leaders who’ve had little to no theological education in a 21-course Biblical Ministries curriculum.
With a Model.
We believe in sustainability, and so we provide vulnerable families with microfinance loans and training.
With a Mission.
We believe Africa can help Africa and Asia can help Asia. By educating leaders and equipping families, we then assign the village with a mission to share these tools with others.
As a result, communities are able to care for their own in the name of Christ.
By Emily Theresa A little Buddha sits on the dashboard. He’s serene, hands folded in his lap, oblivious to the fact that he’s plastic. We’re in the middle of the Indian Ocean, on the “Teardrop of India,” an island country called Sri Lanka. Every crevice of this island...
By Emily Theresa Even as you read this, friends, I’m preparing to fly home from Sri Lanka. I had thought I’d be flying home from India. When I was young, I dreamt about Mother Teresa. In my dreams, she would fly into my backyard in a private airplane, and take me...
by Emily The meal is over and we gather on the couches. Geoff pulls out his harmonica and me, my guitar. Doug is there in his Calgary Zoo t-shirt, and he asks us to pray for Calgary, as he always does. We sing Jesus Loves Me and Doug’s voice is the loudest. Laura...
Where We Work
“…to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
