Father, we lift up our brothers and sisters in Somalia and all around the world that are being persecuted for Your Names sake. Keep them safe, O God, for they have come to You for refuge. You are our Master and every good thing we have comes from You! The godly people in the land are our true heroes! We take pleasure in them. We are praying to You because we know You will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as we pray. Show them Your unfailing love in wonderful ways. By Your mighty power rescue those who seek refuge from their enemies. Guard them as You would guard Your own eyes. Hide them in the shadow of Your wings. By the power of Your hand O Lord, destroy those who look to this world for their reward. But satisfy the hunger of Your treasured ones. May their children have plenty. Because they are righteous, they will see You. When they awake, they will see You face to face and be satisfied.

    Heavenly Father,
We lift up our dear brothers and sisters in Christ in Sierra Leone who are ministering to Your Body and to the lost in their beloved country. We pray for Pastor Sonnel as he directs this branch of the Lulu Tree in West Africa in his local community, in his home with Mommy Christiana and their children, and in the remote villages he oversees– that He would be guided by Your wisdom, strength, and the power of Your Holy Spirit. We pray You would continue to raise up men and women of faith to come along side him and establish churches in the remote villages. We praise you for his fellow shepherds Pastors Daniel, Ezekiel, Dominique and Pastor Bai who are shepherds after Your own heart. We pray you would bless and strengthen and provide for each one of them and for those whose names we do not know. We pray for the cell group leaders in the remote villages to be filled with the power of Your Holy Spirit to minister to the flocks you have called forth and that you would add to these flocks. We pray that you would raise up and annoint teachers to feed the sheep on Your Word so they may grow in the grace and knowledge of YOU. We pray for provision for the churches to be built and equipped for the building up of the Body of Christ. We pray for the fivefold ministry leaders of Ephesians 4 to be raised up and equipped to serve their communities in Sierra Leone as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers “for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-13 The harvest fields are white, but the laborers are few– we ask that You, O Lord, would raise up laborers to come alongside the leaders you have appointed so that many would come to know their Savior and receive eternal life and hope.

My husband would like to share the following verse with Pastor Sonnel and his fellow pastors:
“The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2

“He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them. He feels pity for the weak and the needy, and he will rescue them. He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their lives are precious to him. Long live the king! May the gold of Sheba be given to him. May the people always pray for him and bless him all day long. May there be abundant grain throughout the land, flourishing even on the hilltops. May the fruit trees flourish like the trees of Lebanon, and may the people thrive like grass in a field. May the king’s name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun shines. May all nations be blessed through him and bring him praise. Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does such wonderful things. Praise his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and amen!”

Prayer and praises for South Sudan refugees:

    Heavenly Father,
We thank you and praise You that YOU have led the Lulu Tree into the Adjumani refugee camp to partner with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We pray that You would continue to bless and equip Pastor Santos with grace, energy and strength as he unifies the Body of Christ in the refugee camp. We ask You to bless him mightily in Jesus name for the apostolic work he is doing in the refugee camp and in returning to South Sudan to strengthen the churches. Please provide for all his needs and make a way where there is no way– please answer his many prayers in Jesus name! We thank you that you have sent Pastor Emmy and other Lulu pastors and leaders to walk alongside Pastor Santos and we pray you would bless them with great wisdom, discernment and anointing as they obey Your calling. We pray you would bless, equip and guide the pastors and leaders in the churches in these camps by the power of Your Holy Spirit. That the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace would prevail for the building up of the Body of Christ. We pray that the enemy would be bound from his schemes of disunity, discouragement, and despair and that Your leaders would stand firm in You and Your Word. We pray that you would grow these churches in the grace and knowledge of You. We ask that You would anoint Your pastors and teachers to feed the flocks by the unfolding of Your Word which gives light. We ask this in Jesus mighty name! We pray that You would bless the women and people who have received microloans– that You would bless the work of their hands and multiply their success in whatever they set out to do. We praise you for the Jajjas who are newly saved and we pray that each seed would go into good soil and bear much fruit for the rest of their lives! We pray that You would provide for these women’s needs, heal their broken hearts and bodies, hear their prayers, and build their faith through Your answers and Your Word. We pray against depression and discouragement over these women and that their lives would be like watered gardens because of Your love and care for them through the Body of Christ and through gifts of miracles.

We pray for peace in South Sudan so that these displaced ones may return home. We thank you that– “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness…” Jeremiah 31:2 We ask that in good time they will be able to return to their own territory. In the mighty name of Jesus, for whom NOTHING is impossible– we ask these requests!

God bless Pastor Santos and the Lulu Team as they minister to Your Body of South Sudan!

What is his name—and his son’s name? Tell me if you know! Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. Do not add to his words, or he may rebuke you and expose you as a liar. O God, I beg two favors from you; let me have them before I die. First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs. Romans 8:37-39
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Father, I come to You this morning and ask that You fill Emily with Your Spirit as she ministers to and encourages Your people. These are Your people Lord and I am reminded of the words of Psalm that You direct the steps of the godly. That You delight in every detail of their lives. And that it has never been seen that the godly were abandoned or their children begging for bread. Thank You God for providing every need for Your children. Thank You for the women tithing, providing and loaning the money You have given them. The godly always give generous loans and their children are blessings. Provide every need as You have promised to do yet protect them from the pride of “self sufficiency “ that so many have today. Cause them always to remember that their help comes from You alone. Let there be such a difference in Your people that those around them hunger for what they have and seek You. Holy Spirit draw them and light a fire in them that cannot be put out. Cause a great revival to sweep across these lands and for those of us that “have plenty” May we come to rely on You and You alone. You are a Good, Good Father! I praise You for all that You do! Fill our pastors with Your overflowing Words of love and righteousness that they may feed and guide Your flocks. I ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.

“O Lord, why do you stand so far away? Why do you hide when I am in trouble? The wicked arrogantly hunt down the poor. Let them be caught in the evil they plan for others. For they brag about their evil desires; they praise the greedy and curse the Lord. The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead. Yet they succeed in everything they do. They do not see your punishment awaiting them. They sneer at all their enemies. They think, “Nothing bad will ever happen to us! We will be free of trouble forever!” Their mouths are full of cursing, lies, and threats. Trouble and evil are on the tips of their tongues. They lurk in ambush in the villages, waiting to murder innocent people. They are always searching for helpless victims. Like lions crouched in hiding, they wait to pounce on the helpless. Like hunters they capture the helpless and drag them away in nets. Their helpless victims are crushed; they fall beneath the strength of the wicked. The wicked think, “God isn’t watching us! He has closed his eyes and won’t even see what we do!” Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless! Why do the wicked get away with despising God? They think, “God will never call us to account.” But you see the trouble and grief they cause. You take note of it and punish them. The helpless put their trust in you. You defend the orphans. Break the arms of these wicked, evil people! Go after them until the last one is destroyed. The Lord is king forever and ever! The godless nations will vanish from the land. Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them. You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so mere people can no longer terrify them.”

Heavenly Father, I pray for our dear African Lulu community the prayer by St Francis of Assisi said centuries ago…”Lord make me an instrument of Thy peace, where there is hatred let me sow love, where there is injury, pardon, where there is doubt, faith, where there is despair, hope, where there is darkness, light, where there is sadness, joy, O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, not so much to be understood as to understand, not so much to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned. It is in dying that we have eternal life.” Father please give our dear Lulu brothers and sisters the courage and strength You gave Moses and Joshua to lead with love, fight Your battles and receive victories in and through Your Name. Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for our Lulu Tree brothers and sisters in Africa – for the mothers and fathers and children, pastors, farmers, and everyone who is a part of this ministry and for those who will be touched by you through them. I thank and praise you for what you have done in their lives and what you will do in their lives. I pray today for unity and harmony. Encourage them. Make them strong, firm, and steadfast in you. Give them wisdom and insight. Give them the words to say at the right time as they seek to tell others about you. Use them to bring comfort and encouragement to those around them who know you and those who don’t know you. Whatever lies heavy on their hearts at this time, I pray that you will give them peace and rest and work in those things to your glory. Help them to trust you and to cast all of their cares on you. I thank you that you can do more than we ask or imagine and we look forward to seeing what you will do in and through them. Help them to know and feel your love for them right now and in the days ahead. We love you Jesus. In your name we pray, Amen.

5 May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, 6 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I can’t imagine the obstacles and hindrances you face, but I know the God we serve is BIGGER, STRONGER and IS ABLE to do exceedingly beyond our wildest imagination. He is faithful and has promised not to leave us nor forsake us…..no matter what comes your way, remain faithful and I will continue to be your armor bearer lifting you in prayer along the way.

    Come Lord Jesus Come,

    Janice

Dear Pastor David Zawu, We want you to know how honored and blessed we are to know of your work in Liberia. We know you are facing much opposition to the Lord’s calling right now and we are beseeching the Captain of the Lord of Hosts to win these battles you are facing and to subdue the enemies of the gospel in Liberia. May the Lord God strengthen you and your family and fellow workers with His power, grace and peace as you move forward amidst so much warfare. We pray for favor, protection, faith, provision and MIRACLES by our God who can move mountains.Your faith and faithfulness to the Lord deeply inspires us and we are so grateful to be holding your hand in prayer across the world. With much love and hope in Christ Jesus, John and Roxie Daggett
